Ella Louise Medvin
June 23, 1932 - July 2, 2026
Ella L. Medvin was born in Findlay, Ohio and is the daughter of Florence (Decker-Perry) Alspach and William J. Perry. She married Joseph E. Medvin on August 17, 1961 in Cleveland, Ohio. He preceded her in death on November 16, 2001. Ella was also preceded in death by her son, Mark, sisters, Edna (Robert) Radebaugh, Mariam (Clark) Silveus, Helen (Richard) Adams, Betty (Lanny) Semler, and brother, Ervin (Diane) Alspach Jr. Ella is survived by two sons, Joseph S. Medvin Jr. and Randolph Perry; two daughters, Stacey (Dan) Ortega and Martha Morgan; 10 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Ella’s loss of her son Marky at an early age instilled in her the importance of cherishing the gift of life and every moment we have here on earth. She passed this gift to all who knew her. Ella worked at a chemical manufacturing company for several years and enjoyed working at the Blue Fox restaurant in Cleveland, Ohio, if only for the love of interacting with the various Cleveland locals. Ella and Joe loved horse racing and traveled throughout the Eastern United States visiting horse racing tracks, finally settling in Southern Arizona. She had a passion for antiques and collectables, particularly cookbooks and vintage clothing, and loved studying numerology. Ella was a classy lady who truly cherished the gift of life and love for her children and grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, 2:00 p.m., Evergreen Cemetery, 3015 N. Oracle Road, Tucson AZ 85705.
