Ethel Louise Montcastle's Obituary
Ethel Louise Montcastle, 87, of Tucson, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015. Survived by husband beloved husband of 68 years Ray; devoted mother of son, Michael Ray; daughters Elizabeth “Betsy” and Pat “Patricia” Montcastle. Mrs. Montcastle was a wonderful wife, mother and daughter. She grew up in rural West Virginia where her family grew vegetables and canned them for the family to eat. She was a wonderful cook and was known for keeping an immaculate house. Mrs. Montcastle was very active in her church and was a member of Stepping Stones, an organization that ran fund raisers for the local Christian College. Ethel touched the hearts of many and will be missed by all. Visitors were always welcome to her home and never left without making sure she served them a meal. There has never been a woman on this earth who worked harder at being the best wife and mother that anyone could wish for. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation 2:00 PM Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015 at EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY, 3015 N. Oracle Rd. A Chapel Service will follow at 3:00PM with Rev. Caleb Grimes from the Ina Rd. Church of Christ officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
