Family was always the most important thing to her, and her house was known as the gathering place for the family and friends to come and visit anytime. Wherever she went she brought a feeling of home and warmth with her. She often enjoyed visiting her friends at the El Rio center to create crafts, play games and share memories with others.
One of her favorite places to visit with her family was Disneyland. When her children were young, they went almost every year, the first ride always had to be It’s a Small World. As the years passed, she passed this love to her kids/grandkids and would enjoy the souvenirs they would bring back and photos of their smiling faces. When you walk into her home you would see a vast collection of photos of ranging decades of all her family. She loved being surrounded by these memories.
