Evelyn Ruth Robinson's Obituary
The Robinson, Chester and Hardy families are saddened to inform all who knew Evelyn Ruth (Hardy) Robinson, aged 89, passed away from congestive heart failure early on the morning of Sunday, July 6, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona. Evelyn Ruth was also known as: Evelyn, Eve, Eva and even Aisha to those who knew her best. She was born on February 11, 1936, in her hometown of South Bend, Indiana. Evelyn was the third of fourteen born in the Horace Butler and Rachel Dewilla (Jones) Hardy household.
Evelyn was known to be a studious, outgoing, friendly and industrious young lady who was never without a job. She worked at Children's Hospital, Memorial Hospital and even Wyman's Department Store while growing up in Northern Indiana. Moved by her industrious and business-oriented attitude, she attained her Cosmetology Certificate and began her career as a Hair https://Stylist/Hairdresser...even to the point of opening her own salon in the basement of her residence on Longley Avene there in South Bend. Evelyn would later begin to expand on her world experiences by traveling the country and also venture overseas to Saudi Arabia as the wife of an Army Master Sergeant.
She would spend a brief stint working in the aerospace industry as an aerial observer technician on the Edwards Air Force Base installation while living in California. From humble beginnings she has called many places her https://home...Indiana, Texas, Saudi Arabia, California and Arizona. Later in life she used her talents as a savvy businesswoman and held several real estate properties in and around the Tucson, Arizona area. Her charming influence and smile made a lasting impression on those who were lucky enough to come into contact with her.
Evelyn leaves behind the following members of her loving family: Christopher Chester (son), Tre Robinson (son). Three sisters, Audrey (Hardy) Spencer; Phyllis (Hardy) Canty; Deborah (Charlie) (Hardy) Sagun and three brothers, Curtis (Rebecca) Hardy; Karl Hardy and Stephen (Jan) Hardy. Evelyn now joins those who preceded her: husband, Staff Sergeant Larry Robinson - (ret.), and siblings, Ronald Hardy, Joyce (Hardy) Kroll, Hortense (Hardy) Magee, Horace Hardy, Kenneth Hardy, Marlene (Hardy) Jenkins and Mark Hardy. We prayerfully ask that you join our family in grief for our loss, but also in celebration of a long and well-lived life. Our God be praised in His precious gift of life to Evelyn Ruth (Hardy) Robinson and all who are blessed to live in His World. Amen.
