Loving father of 3 children; Pamela Musgrove, Debra Lawson and Steve Thornton.
Proud grandfather of 5 grandchildren; Johnathan Musgrove, Nathan Lawson, Jason Musgrove, Paul Lawson and Megan Thornton also 7 great grand children.
To those who had the privilege to know Everett, it became quickly apparent he had two main passions.
The first and foremost passion was without a doubt preaching the Gospel. 55 years he reached out to others sharing Christianity with all. He said his mother was a prayer warrior and even though she passed on when he was only 7 years old she had such a profound effect on him it set him on his life’s course. His ministry literally started on the street corners and he later went onto pastor the same church for 47 years.
Secondarily only to the gospel was his outstanding love for animals. Cattle, dogs, cats or any animal in fact only had to find there way to Everett to have a loving home for life.
These words only briefly describe the life expressed so fully for over 86 years. His actions have changed the lives of so many people around the world. We are sure he would want his final words to be from the one he pointed everyone to.
John 11:25
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life; he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.
