Floyd Allen Hyatt's Obituary
Floyd Allen Hyatt, age 72, was found dead on Thursday, April 15, 2021, in his rented residence in Palm Springs, Florida. He was first born son of Floyd Arthur and Helen M. Hyatt and brother of Christine, John and William Hyatt.
"Allen" lived in Arizona and Michigan. In his younger years in Tucson, AZ he was a member of the Boy Scouts of America. In Michigan, he graduated from Spring Arbor College with a BA degree in Psychology in 1973. He married Kathryn L. Streit shortly after college and the couple successfully raised three children together in Michigan.
He worked at various jobs in the Automotive, IT & Health industry in Michigan, but struggled to find a gainful career with permanent employment opportunities. Some of his favorite hobbies included singing, playing harmonica, and authoring short stories and novels.
After being divorced from his wife Kathy, he moved to Fountain Hills, Arizona around 2008 to seek better employment opportunities. After 2016 he retired to Florida to be closer to one of his sons.
He is deeply missed by his family and friends.
At the time of Floyd's death, he was survived by his mother and siblings, his children Aaron, Justin and Lana, his grandchildren Dane, Chase, Dominick and niece Heather and grandnieces Sophia and Oliva {m. David Stapula).
