Frances E. Keller's Obituary
Frances E. Keller, 75, of Tucson, Arizona passed away December 10, 2013 at Casa de la Luz Hospice. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2013, at 1:00 pm, at Evergreen Mortuary and Cemetery, 3015 N. Oracle Road, Tucson. Memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation at 2:00 pm. Fran, as she was known, was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Lawrence P. Powers and Anna Marie Tagler on February 20, 1938. She was the baby of a family of eight children. She graduated from Scotch Plains High School in 1946. She met Roy T. Keller while working as a school secretary, and they were married May, 3, 1958. In 1964 Roy and Fran moved to Arizona where they raised their family of four children, Roy worked as a sergeant for the Pima County Sheriff's Department and Fran worked as an off-set printing operator at Flowing Wells High School. She and Roy were married for 53 years until he passed in 2011.She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Anna, three brothers, Joe, Larry and John, and two sisters, Mary Lou and Nancy, all of New Jersey. She is survived by sisters Regina and Katherine, of New Jersey; son Roy T. (Marsha) Keller Jr., daughters Lorelei (Philip E.) Tullar, Kristina (Joseph) Rustici, and Kathleen (Yash) Keller-Shah. Grandchildren Aaron T. (Jennifer) Tullar, Karleen A. Vaughn, Philip J. (Shannon) Tullar, Trent R. (Alyson) McCaw, Brienne Keller, Wesley Keller, and great-grandson Cooper Vaughn. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Fran's name to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. The family would like to express its gratitude to at Bayada Home Health Care, especially Martha, Linda, Mary and Jessica for their loving care, and to the staff of Casa de la Luz Hospice.
