Frances Lending's Obituary
Frances Lending passed away peacefully in her sleep from natural causes on July 20, 2016 in Tucson, Arizona, just days before her 90th birthday. She was born Frances Adele Liverant on July 22, 1926 in Memphis, Tennessee to Abraham and Rebecca Lyon Liverant of Luxora, Arkansas where she grew up. After attending Belmont College and the University of Arkansas, she moved to St. Louis, Missouri where she met and married Sheldon Lending in 1948. They were together 57 years until his death in 2005 in Boca Raton, Florida where they had lived since 1981.
She is survived by her sons Stephen of Palos Verdes Estates, California and Robert of Tucson, Arizona. Donations in her memory can be sent to the Braille Institute of America.
