Francine Laura Levin's Obituary
Francine Laura Levin, 67, lifelong Tucsonan, passed away September 11, 2012. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on Nov. 29, 1944, daughter of the late Ike& Shirley (Giteck) Kuropatkin. FRANKI will be remembered for being a relentless advocate for those she loved, family, friends, clients and the Arizona Wildcat Basketball team. She expressed her artistic talents professionally as a hair stylist for over forty years and personally as a chocolatier and Kugle maker extraordinaire. She was heroic in her commitment to and the achievement of living a life that was full and that made a difference in the lives of so many others, in spite of the many challenges that circumstance put in her path. Franki is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Malcolm J. Levin; a devoted daughter, Stephanie (Spencer) Roberts, all of Tucson. She was so proud of her grandchildren, Abigail Rose and Ethan Roberts. Franki leaves a brother, Michael (Sara) Kuropatkin and a sister, Judith (Stanley) Abrams, all of Tucson and extended family including cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and countless number of friends. A Service will be held 11 AM Thursday, September 13, 2012 at EVERGREEN MORTUARY, N Oracle & W Miracle Mile. Interment will follow in Congregation Anshei Israel Section of EVERGREEN CEMETERY.
