Fredda Schwisow's Obituary
Fredda Beth Schwisow passed away peacefully, in her sleep, at Crossroads Adult Care Home on January 29, 2015. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones at the time of her passing. Fredda Beth was 87 years young.
Fredda was born in Belen, New Mexico on December 12, 1927 to Hildry Arch and Mary Cathryn Carter. She was one of four children and is survived by her sister Mary Curtis. Fredda was preceded in death by her husbands Amos Emerson and Dewayne Schwisow as well as by her sons Stanley Emerson and Asher Emerson. She leaves behind her children Charles Emerson, Dale Emerson, and Amy (Emerson) Oekerman, as well as her eight grandchildren and her eleven great-grandchildren.
Fredda Beth leaves behind an inspirational legacy as a woman who embodied both ambition and perseverance. After the sudden death of her first husband, Amos Emerson, she provided for her family, against all odds, as a single mother while also attending college for Elementary Education. Fredda’s perseverance allowed her to live a life full of joy, laughter, and constant adventure no matter what curve ball the game of life threw at her. Her personality, whit and zest for life have brought joy to many who crossed her path throughout her journey. Her legacy will not be easily forgotten, as her life is one to be celebrated.
Fredda’s celebration of life will be held Tuesday February 3, 2015 at ten o’clock in the morning at Evergreen Mortuary at 3015 N. Oracle Road, Tucson, AZ.
