George A. Carrillo, Jr.
65, of Tucson passed away on February 7,
2018 after a courageous battle with
Parkinson's disease. He is survived by his wife
of 46 years Linda, daughters Lanette (Paul),
Georgina (Noe) and son Marcus (Cassandra);
five grandchildren Ashley, Jordan, Brooklynn,
Mark and Nathaniel. Also survived by
brothers, sisters, extended family, and loyal
friends. He will be missed by many. He
retired from the Pima County Sheriff's
department after 28 years of service. He was
a dedicated baseball coach for over 40 years
to many local youth and a founding member of the
Knights of Columbus. A rosary will
be offered on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 8:30
am at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church with a mass to follow at 9:00 am.
He will be laid to rest immediately following at
Holy Hope Cemetery. His final days were
blessed with kindness through the care of
Panchita, Fabiola and Vanessa. In lieu of
flowers, donations may be made in his name
to the Parkinson's Foundation or a Little
League of your choice.
