Gerald Schneider's Obituary
Our unique father and grandfather died April 1 at the age of 96. He proudly served his country in WWII and participated in the initial assault on Normandy. He was raised on the rough streets of Brooklyn, NY and moved his family to Tucson in 1964. He was preceded in death by Eleanor, his wife of 49 years. He leaves sons Steve (Merrill) and Marty (Patty) and grandchildren Sarah, Rachel, Dan, Hannah, Amy and Jen, and great-grandchild James, and companion Eleanor Bova. Graveside services will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2014 in the Congregation Anshei Israel Section of Evergreen Cemetery, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile.
