Gilbert G. Wimberly's Obituary
Gilbert Wimberly peacefully passed away on October 29th 2017. He survived by his wife Linda Wimberly. Along side his two daughters Trisha and Cindy. He was a grandfather to 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was a sibling to 6 brothers and 1 sister. He also had many nieces and nephews as well as a generous amount of friends.
Gilbert was known for his tremendous hard work ethics. He enjoyed his job as a foreman in which he spent many years doing. He took great pride in restoring vehicles from the beginning to end. He also loved spending his Saturday mornings making his family phone calls from the top to the bottom of his personal phone book. Gilbert also enjoyed watching the sunset with his wife and a few cold drinks in his own backyard. He never settled for anything less when it came to his family. He was a man who sacrificed a lot and always stayed true to his word. His family was the most important part of his life.
Gilbert was loved by many and will forever be in our hearts.
The viewing for Gilbert Wimberly will be held on Friday November 10th from 4:00-7:00 PM at Evergreen Mortuary & Cemetery (3015 N. Oracle Road).
Burial will take place on Friday November 17th at 11:00 AM at Holy Hope Cemetery (3555 N. Oracle Road).
