Gisela was the leader of a writing group at Antigone's Books for many years. I was a member of that group for several years and I always felt that Gisela provided a safe and nurturing environment in which to share writing. Gisela was a excellent writer in her own right and I always enjoyed listening to her read her pieces at the writing circle.
