Helen M. Smith's Obituary
HELEN M. SMITH 85, of Marana, passed away November 1, 2012. She was born in Severance, Kansas, daughter of the late William and Mildred (Blanton) Roland. She has resided here for 50 years. Helen co-owned and operated a business formerly known as the Tucsonita Hay & Feed Market. Helen was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Stephen V. Smith on September 27, 2012. She leaves a son, Scott W. (Lori) Smith of Marana and a daughter Diane (Jim) Ripley of Glendale. She leaves 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Helen leaves a sister, Alma McConnaughey of Troy, KS. Funeral Services will be held at Noon Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at EVERGREEN MORTUARY, N Oracle & W Miracle Mile. Burial will follow in EVERGREEN CEMETERY. Friends may call at the mortuary on Tuesday from 11 AM until the time of service. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Smith's name to Lord of Grace Lutheran Church, 7250 N. Cortaro Road, Tucson, AZ 85743. Arrangements are by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY.
