Herminia Miranda Garcia's Obituary
Herminia “Minnie” Garcia 84, resident of Catalina, died November 3, 2020. She was predeceased by her husband Bonifacio “Indio” Garcia.
She is survived by Guadalupe (Yvonne) Garcia, Alberta (Joseph) Sanchez, Terri (Tim) Osborn and Ramona Miranda of Texas. Also grandchildren Celina, Tyson, Derek, Tyne, Amber, Amanda and Mariah, Matthew and Yolanda as well as greatgrandchildren Isaiah, Isaiah, Sito, Derek, Austin, Garrett, Ciara, Ashlynn, Brielle, Addison and Matthew.
Minnie “Nana” was a surrogate mom to many people and always saw the best in all that she encountered. Her home was always open to her ‘kids’ and many friends and there was usually a pot of beans and some delicious thing cooking in another pot. Her tortillas were famous! She loved her garden, her hummingbirds and her Love Bird “Mickey”: they all flourished under her care.
We want to thank all of the people that have become a part of our extended family for their support and prayers.

Visitation will be held Monday November 9th from 4:30 to 8:30 pm at Evergreen Mortuary on Oracle. Grave side services will be held on November 10th at 1 pm at Holy Hope Cemetery and a celebration of her life will be held afterward at the Garcia residence.
