Inge R. Schneider's Obituary
Inge R. Schneider born October 9, 1925 in Dusseldorf, Germany, died November 20, 2014 in Tucson. Survived by her sons Ken Schneider (Judy Regensteiner) of Lakewood, CO, Ron Schneider (Julie Tronson) of Tucson and two grandchildren, Max and Alyssa Schneider. Preceded in death by husband Herbert, son Harvey, sisters Ilsa Weishaupt and Miriam Michaelis. Having survived the Holocaust, she began a new life in New York City. Inge was a designer assistant/sample maker in the garment industry. In 1976 she convinced her husband to leave everything behind and move her family to Tucson. She managed a small garment factory in South Tucson and then took her talents to many Bridal Shops in Tucson. She and her husband traveled the world extensively during their retirement as well as enjoyed their grandchildren and their extended family. She volunteered at Sabino Canyon one of the many places and things she loved about Tucson. Strong and dynamic, her adventurous spirit is alive and well in her sons and grandchildren. A graveside will be held 2pm on Sunday, November 23, 2014 in the B’nai B’rith Section of Evergreen Cemetery.
