James R Shelland's Obituary
SHELLAND, James Robert, of Oro Valley, AZ, born September 9, 1929 in Ada, Minnesota, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016. Beloved husband of Mirelda (Dolly) Shelland (married 60 years), devoted father of Wanda Lee (Roger) Bailey of CA, dear brother of John (Pat) Shelland of MN and Carolyn Buscher also of MN; cherished grandfather of Jon (Kyla) Vevia of OR, David Vevia and Kristina Vevia both of CA; also survived by great grandchildren Gibson and Annabeth Vevia; preceded in death by great granddaughter, Ella Vevia. Mr. Shelland graduated from the University of North Dakota. He served in the US Army during WWII and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Shelland went on to a very accomplished career in the banking industry before retiring in 1992. He will be interred at Evergreen Cemetery in Tucson, AZ.
