Jane Louise Peterson's Obituary
Jane Louise Peterson 89, passed away July 22. She is preceded in death by her husband William of 49 years, their infant son Michael, and her brothers Harold, Glen and Walter. She is survived by her sons Tim and Tom (Shannon), Grandchildren Sarah (Scott), Erin (Jonathan), Adam (Jacquelyn) and Todd (Candelaria), and eleven Great-Grandchildren, all of whom live in Tucson. In her final day on this Earth, she was surrounded by her entire family.
Born in Indianapolis, her family came to Tucson when she was 2 years old. She graduated from Amphitheater High School, and worked professionally for many years in the Insurance Industry and for the Eller School of Management at the University of Arizona.
She was a founding member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, and took great comfort and joy in the Christian fellowship she found there. She served the congregation and the Lord in many ways until she was physically unable to attend.
Visitation is 9:00 am Friday July 27th at Evergreen Mortuary, followed by internment at 10:00 am at Evergreen Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be scheduled at Redeemer Lutheran Church 1:00 pm Sunday August 26th. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Redeemer.
