Janet Sue Casselberry's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Sue Casselberry of Tucson, Arizona, who passed away on September 8, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends.
Janet was born in Kansas City, Missouri on December 5th, 1943. After high school she attended Ozark Bible Institute and graduated April 6th, 1973. On May 27th, 1977, Janet married Jack Casselberry, her husband of nearly 50 years. Janet was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Some of her favorite things were getting together with family, attending church, and enjoying the outdoors. Her love knew no bounds! She gave even when she didn’t have, she forgave no matter how many times she was wronged, she always put the well being of others before herself, and she would pray relentlessly for everyone around her.
Janet was predeceased by: Her parents Earl Hitchcock and Norma Hitchcock, and her sister Carol Hitchcock.
She is survived by: Her husband Jack Casselberry; her 3 children Miriam Casselberry (Rogers) and husband Rich Rogers, Daniel Casselberry and wife Marsha Casselberry, and Johnathan Casselberry; her 6 grandchildren Malachi Casselberry, Faith Rogers, Mayla Casselberry, Nicholas Rogers, Nevaeh Casselberry, and Alexander Rogers; Her 3 siblings John Hitchcock, Becky Hitchcock, and James Hitchcock.
The funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Saturday September 18th at First Assembly of God on the corner of Broadway and Campbell. It will be proceeded be a private family visitation and viewing held at Evergreen Mortuary on Saturday September 18th from 9am to 1pm.
