I was one of Mrs. Glassberg's children's friends who felt like she was my second mom. My first memories of her were in 6th grade when she would substitute for Mr. Cohen who was great. But her warm smile and chipper personality really lit up our classroom. In later years when going over to visit she made me feel so welcome and appreciated. Her passover break-fasts were the event of the year as far as I'm concerned. She will be sorely missed but I'll always have such good memories that made a real impact on my life.
