Jeremey Jason Marine's Obituary
Dr. Jeremey “Jay” Marine, age 46, passed away from complications following a surgery on January 27, 2020. He served the Tucson mental health community for over 25 years as a behavioral health tech, registered nurse, and Doctor of Nursing Practice - Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He had a passion for helping others. He was a loving father, friend, and mentor. He was boisterous, had a personality larger than life, and a smile that lit up the room. As a friend said “he wore his heart on his sleeve and would give you the shirt off his back”. He will be greatly missed by his wife and soulmate of 30 years, Cheryl, their two children Alina (15) and Magnus (11), extended family, and nearly countless friends.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family is requesting donations be made in the name of Dr. Jeremey Marine, DNP, RN, PMHNP-BC to the “National Alliance on Mental Health of Southern Arizona” http://www.namisa.org/donate-in-many-ways.html
