Jerome Turetzky's Obituary
Jerry Turetzky a wonderful loving husband, son, brother, father, and grandfather passed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ suddenly on February 29, 2012. Jerry was born in Chicago, Ill in 1948. He was preceded in Death by Father Ben Turetzky and daughter Lisa. Jerry leaves behind his loving wife Judith, mother Sonya Turetzky, both of Tucson, Sister Eileen Ruzeck of Tucson, Son Steven & Anna Dorries of Prescott, daughter Andrea & Bob Hogan of Madison, WI., Wendy Ashkenaz of Chicago Ill., Brittany Turetzky of Versailles, KY and Seven grandchildren, Haley, Cecelia, Benjamin, Kelly, Molly, Scarlet and Cloe; and dear friend that he often referred to as his sister, Rosa Mire. Jerry moved to Tucson from Chicago 17 years ago, where he met and married the love of his life Judith. Jerry always believed that Lord had blessed him with his special angel, Judith. He always had a smile and encouraging, positive outlook on life. Jerry was a very generous loving man who enjoyed meeting new people and thought of everyone as a friend. Jerry was grateful to have had the opportunity to travel the world with his wonderful Uncle Larry. He scuba dived, enjoyed riding his horse Amigo, flying his Cessina, and spending time outdoors at the firing range, with his good friend Glen and his son Steven. He loved the Lord, his family, and his country. Jerry was a Completed Jew/Christian who died a very good righteous man and will be in our hearts always. There are no words to describe our loss. Memorial Service will be held Sunday, March 4, 2012, 1:00 PM at EVERGREEN MORTUARY, N. Oracle & W Miracle Mile.
