Jerry Gene Lee's Obituary
Jerry Gene Lee, 81, long time resident of Tucson, passed away on the morning of September 30. He was born in Bowling Green, OH, son of the late Lehr and Vera (McGriff) Lee. Jerry moved his wife and family to Arizona fifty years ago and settled in making a life and providing for the needs of his family. He was a master welder as well as a heavy equipment mechanic who worked for the mines and construction companies in the area. Jerry was a longtime member of the Tucson Rodeo Parade Committee. He is survived by his loving daughters, Donata Ochse of Tucson and Debbie Fritts of Gilbert. Jerry was proud of his grandchildren, Justin Lee, Tarah Gramza, Katlene Lee Ginn and Diane Schmidt and several great grandchildren. He leaves a sister, Clara Ross who resides in Ohio. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janet L. (Trumbull) Lee in 1991 and a son, Danny R. Lee in 1999. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
