Jessie Ray Johnson's Obituary
Jessie Ray Johnson, born on January 7th 1953, passed away on February 6th 2019 of heart failure at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tucson Arizona. A 20 year Air Force veteran he is survived by his wife Dianne Subran-Johnson, and stepson Kwesi Hazel. As well as his brothers, Joe, King, Edward, Cleophas Jr., and sister Rosie Bradley. Born to father Richard Johnson, and mother Valerie Love in Memphis Tennessee, Jessie was raised by his mother and stepfather Cleophas Johnson (no relation). After leaving the Air Force Jessie found another way to serve by becoming a security guard at St. Joseph’s Hospital where he made many friends, touched many lives, and even garnered an award for an Act of Bravery. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
