I will always remember Jesse, not just for the laughs and good times we shared, but for the small, meaningful moments that showed his heart. I’ll never forget the day I was pregnant and crying for pozole—he rushed to get it for me, even with the restaurant closing in fifteen minutes, and still made it just in time. That’s who Jesse was, always thoughtful and always showing up in the ways that mattered most. I can still hear him teasing me with his warm voice saying, “hi baby, look at your chubby cheeks,” or wanting to hold onto that baby picture of me he once found. The song “choices” by E40 will always remind me of you and the car rides where you blasted it and all I knew were the words “Yup; Nope” and you would laugh because we would annoy my mom with it. Those memories bring both laughter and tears, and they’re the moments that will forever keep him alive in my heart. Please watch over us all from Heaven. 🤍🕊️ LLJ
