Jo Ellen Gastelum, 90, of Tucson, Arizona passed January 5th, 2018 in Tucson, Arizona.
Visitation will be held at Evergreen Mortuary 3015 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705 on January 9th at 9:30 am, followed by the funeral service at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
Jo Ellen was born in Wichita, Kansas on January 5th, 1928. She graduated from Tucson High School in 1946. She held a career as Alterations Manager for Foley's Department Store. She loved family, nature, and sewing. She was always elegant, always a Lady, and was always late. She was the heart of the family and loved unconditionally.
Jo Ellen was preceded in death by her mother Mary Elizabeth King; husband Edward Villa Gastelum; and son Edward Anthony Gastelum.
She is survived by daughters Gloria (Steve) Mazeika and Annette (Tom) Gastelum-Lewis; grandaughter Teresa (Brian) Fitzpatrick;grandsons Anthony (Jill) McCormack and Garrett Lewis; great grandaughters Amy (Mike) Agregado and Ashley Bergman; great grandsons Tyler Fitzpatrick, Sovereign, and Guardian McCormack; and great great grandson Joshua Moore.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Foothills Vista Adult Care Home for their exemplary care and kindness, and Casa de la Luz Hospice for their support in her final days.
