John J. Capara's Obituary
In loving memory of beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. John Joseph Capara, July 24, 1936 – April 20, 2016, born July 24, 1936 in Gallitzin, PA. John is survived by Lydia Capara, wife of 57 years; children, Katherine Addis, Jeff Capara, Mary Spatola, and John Capara; 10 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was in the Air Force for 4 years. He worked for Lockheed for 5 years. He then moved to Tucson in 1971. Briefly worked at the mines then signed on with Mountain Bell (now Century Link) until he retired in 2000. John loved to hunt, fish, build and tinker with things. He was the MacGyver of the family and taught his sons everything they know (good and bad). In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Fatima Women's Center in the memory of John Capara. A viewing will be held 10:00 am at St. Gianna Oratory (Holy Family Church). The rosary will be recited at 10:10 am and the mass will be begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery at 1:00 pm. A luncheon will follow services. Arrangements by Evergreen Mortuary & Cemetery,
