John C. Goodman With deep sadness and even greater gratitude for the blessing that was his life, we announce the passing of our father, John C. Goodman, on Father's Day. The youngest of six children, John was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on August 25, 1912, to parents who had recently emigrated from Byelorussia. He was the pet of his older siblings who urged him to always do the right thing, a maxim he held on to for the rest of his life. He moved to Tucson in 1950 and owned Lee's Liquors for many years. John is preceded in death by his parents, all his siblings, a niece and a nephew, as well as his wife Adrienne who passed away in 2008. He is survived by his daughter Gail (Randy) Perazzini of Santa Fe, NM, and his son Richard (Laurie) Goodman of San Pedro, CA; by his grandchildren Zev (Rachel Tore) Zaidman of New York City, Zak (Monica) Zaidman of Topanga, CA, and Amy (Dave) Wilson of Tucson; by his great-grandchildren Simon and Abigail Wilson, Abraham Tore and SolunaZaidman; and by five nieces and nephews and their children. There will be a service at the EVERGREEN MORTUARY, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mileon Tuesday, June 18, at 12:30.
