John V. Strand's Obituary
John V. Strand, 74, of Tucson, died October 4, 2011. John was born April 8, 1937 in Siren, WI, to Earle and Ellen Strand. He served in the National Guard for eight years and was a retired truck driver. Preceded in death by his wife, Janice Strand. He is survived by his children, Marcella (Dale) Wigen of Tucson, Richard Gillock (partner, Linda Herren) and Allen (Carrie) Strand of Green River, WY, John (Beate) Lara of Key Largo, FL and Joe (Mina) Lara of Tucson; two sisters, Marvel Dupree of Tucson and Marcella Strand of Minneapolis, MN; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be held on Friday, October 7, 2011, at 3:00 PM, EVERGREEN CEMETERY. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY, CEMETERY & CREMATORY, N. Oracle Rd & W. Miracle Mile.
