Jose Angel Menchaca's Obituary
Those of you, who knew Jose Angel Menchaca, know that he was one of the most generous, kindhearted persons you'd ever meet. He was a godly man, an incredible husband, father, friend, and an even more amazing Tata. His grandchildren were the light of his life.
Jose finished his race and entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on September 10, 2021. He is survived by his beloved wife, Leticia Menchaca, his three children and their spouses, Iris (Alex), Emmanuel (Mayra) and Naomi (Chris); seven grandchildren, Israel, Analysa, Isaac, Elizabeth, Amy, Andrew and Aziel. His family, especially his grandchildren, was his pride and joy. He always said that if he’d known how amazing grandchildren were, he would have had them first.
Jose was born in Nogales, Sonora on February 23rd, 1960 to Jose and Eloisa Menchaca. He met and married the love of his life, in April of 1982. After many years, he met and accepted his Lord and Savior in 1987. They later moved to Tucson, AZ where they joined a local church, The Door Church.
Jose was a beloved member of The Door Church, for 30 plus years. He was involved in many ministries throughout the years, including worship, La Luz del Mundo, plays, Bible Study, and much more. He and his family also went to Mexico City, D.F. as missionaries, to pioneer a church and stayed there for 7 years.
His last words were, "Pase lo que pase, Dios es Bueno." "Whatever happens, God is good." His desire was that each and every one of us would one day meet his Lord and Savior.
Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
In lieu of flowers, Jose would have liked any donations to be directed to the new church building he loved and labored for. Door Church
Aquellos de ustedes que conocieron a José Menchaca, saben que fue una de las personas más generosas y bondadosas que jamás hayan conocido. Era un hombre de Dios, un buen esposo, padre, amigo increíble y un Tata aún más asombroso. Sus nietos eran la luz de su vida.
José Ángel Menchaca terminó su carrera y entró a la presencia de su Señor y Salvador el 10 de Septiembre de 2021. Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Leticia Menchaca, sus tres hijos y sus esposos, Iris (Alex), Emmanuel (Mayra) y Naomi (Chris); siete nietos, Israel, Analysa, Isaac, Elizabeth, Amy, Andrew y Aziel. Su familia, especialmente sus nietos, era su orgullo y alegría. Siempre decía que si hubiera sabido lo maravillosos que eran los nietos, los habría tenido primero.
José Angel Menchaca nació en Nogales, Sonora el 23 de Febrero del 1960 de José y Eloisa Menchaca. Conoció y se casó con el amor de su vida, en Abril del 1982. Después de muchos años, conoció y aceptó a su Señor y Salvador en 1987. Luego, se mudaron a Tucson, AZ, donde se unieron a una iglesia local, The Door Church.
José fue un miembro querido de The Door Church durante más de 30 años. Estuvo involucrado en muchos ministerios a lo largo de los años, incluyendo el grupo de alabanzas, grupo La Luz del Mundo, obras de teatro, Estudio Bíblico y mucho más.
