Joseph Oscar Vallejo's Obituary
Joseph Oscar Vallejo, age 80, passed peacefully on Monday, October 1, 2018 at his home in Tucson, Arizona with his family by his side. A resident of Tucson since 1983, Oscar was born on March 29, 1938 to Oscar and Josephine Vallejo in Mogollon, New Mexico . He was a loving and faithful husband of 60 years to Esther Vallejo, and an affectionate father to Danny, Arlene, and Steve. Oscar had 11 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren, who he loved dearly.
He lived in Morenci, Arizona and graduated from Morenci High School in 1956. In Morenci, he worked at Phelps Dodge as a civil engineer. Later he attended the University of Arizona and the University of Phoenix, and soon thereafter worked at Sunnyside School District as Plant Operations Director. Oscar also loved to hunt and fish in his spare time.
Oscar will always be remembered and will be missed by many. Rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m followed by a funeral service on Monday, October 8 at Saint Odilia Catholic Church, 7570 N. Paseo Del Norte, Tucson, AZ at 11 a.m.
