Judith Ellen Storry's Obituary
Judith Ellen Storry died April 13, 2019 in Tucson, Arizona. Born in Knox, Indiana April 16, 1942, Judy lived in Minnesota for many years before life led her to the desert, which she dearly loved. Judy was a lady of many talents and had many different careers over her lifetime, but the one that was dearest to her heart was her last one – cataloging artifacts for the National Park Service.
Judy is survived by her husband Gene Storry of Tucson; children Kim (Ronald) Beckwith of Tucson, Sue (Mark) Campana of Millville, MN; granddaughters Susie (Chad), Katherine (Matthew), Emily (Steven); grandson Thomas; great grandchildren Nathan, Joshua, Aubrey; sisters Nancy (Steve) Drees, Bonnie (Wesley)Paddock, Debra Lambertson, Vickie (Jeff) Freed ; brother-in-law J William Keyser; and many loving nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her father Cecil Lambertson, mother Josephine Graham Lambertson Stallman, step-mother Vivian Jean Lambertson and sisters Betty Menke and Carol Garcia.
Judy was a kind and loving person, was a supportive and inspirational mother to her daughters, and was a wonderful and caring wife of 60 years to her husband Gene. She will be missed beyond measure.
In lieu of flowers or a memorial gift to the family, please consider a donation to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum’s Hummingbird Aviary, where Judy and Gene spent countless joyful days together for many years; or, a donation to the charity of your choice.
The family welcomes Judy’s friends and family to an informal graveside gathering at Evergreen Cemetery, Monday, April 22, 2019 at 11:00 am.
