Judith Lucia Worman's Obituary
Judith was born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 29, 1941. As a child, she enjoyed her family vacations to Florida and swimming in the ocean. Judith met her husband while they were in high school in Evanston, Illinois, and they were married in 1960 in Chicago. After the births of their three children, the family moved to Tucson, Arizona, in 1973. Judith worked as a special education teacher’s assistant at Santa Rita High School and she retired in the early 2000’s. During her retirement, she enjoyed her central role in caring for her grandchildren, who adored her. She also enjoyed fitness and traveling. On April 1, 2022, Judith passed away peacefully after valiantly fighting a ten-year battle with dementia. She returned home to Chicago to rest with her grandparents, Frank and Rose, her parents, Marshall and Harlene, and her sister, Adele. Judith was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Worman Sr. She is survived by her two sons, Kenneth Worman and Lyle Worman Jr., her daughter and son-in-law, Mari and John Shryock, and her grandchildren, Rafael Reyes-Worman and Jasmine and Hailey Shryock. She also left behind her loving former daughter-in-law, Monica Sepulveda, her niece, Lisa Morris, and her nephews, William and Stephen Orejudos.
We miss and love you so much, Mom-Grandma-Nana-Aunt. Thank you for loving us. See you on the other side.
