It has taken me a while to actually figure out what to say, but I finally have. I knew that I had a sister out there somewhere that no one knew where she was. One day though, she reached out and got in touch with us. When we finally did meet, she had such a beautiful smile and heart. We talked on the phone a lot, but that is how she and I bounded. Even though I have three more sisters, it is hard losing one. My heart goes out to her family and friends, as well as to her beautiful daughter and my niece Melissa. There are not many words you can say when you lose a parent and confidant, but just know that she was very proud of her accomplishments. May you now Rest In Peace Julie.

I miss you, Mom. You were and always will be the most important person in my life. You pulled me out of every bad situation you could. You gave your all to me. You gave your all to everyone, even when they didn't deserve it. I miss the way we used to laugh at our stupid inside jokes. I miss calling you at 3 in the morning just to talk about nothing at all. I miss you forgiving me for my mistakes and helping me learn from them. You gave me an amazing 19 years. We may have had our issues but at the end of the day, we had one of the strongest mother/daughter bonds ever. I love you so much and I always will. I know you're not in pain anymore and that's all that matters. I know you'll look down on me and be proud of everything I do. From this moment on, everything I do is for you and to make sure I grow up to become the person you taught me to be. I love you Momma.

Julie I will miss our talks. We loved you so much even before we got to meet you, I hope you knew how much. When I was a kid I always told people that I had 4 sisters just that we were still trying to find the sister that was adopted when she was a baby. I was so glad that we got to meet you especially now. I wish I would have been able to travel to see you. It breaks my heart. You were so wise and so caring. Thank you to the Hannan family for giving you such a good life, Julie loved you so much. To Mellisa your mom always talked about how proud she was of you, you were the light of her life. To Jim she never thought she would find someone like you and i know that you made the best of what she had left because we always save the best for last. I'm so sorry for your loss. My grief is beyond words. I can't believe I got to find my sister only to lose her again. Julie may you rest in peace, I'm glad pain can no longer reach you. You are so missed!

Julie was and is forever my Soul Mate. In the short time she we were given together she gave me the greatest gifts I will ever receive: her love and friendship, and she brought her daughter Melissa the best step-daughter anyone could ever ask for into my life. For all those who knew Julie, then you know that I have been amazingly blessed to have shared in her love and friendship. I am now and always will be forever grateful for every day, every hour, and every minute I was given with her.
If you want to remember Julie, all you have to do is share your love with your family, friends and animals; just as she did every day of her life and will continue to do in the next.
