Katie Dora Hicks' Obituary
Katie Dora Hicks, the daughter of Major and Bessie Ragland, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2013 at the age of 97. She was born on November 6, 1915 in Madison, Alabama and had been a resident of Carson, California. Katie is survived by her loving children, Richard Hicks, Robbie Sanderfur, Edward Hicks Jr., David Hicks and Franklin Hicks; 21 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Lillian McBee. A graveside service will be held 12:00 Noon Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Evergreen Cemetery, N Oracle Rd & W. Miracle Mile.
