Kimberly Mae Cornwell's Obituary
Kimberly Mae Cornwell,
Kimmy was born on August 13, 1993 to Greg and Connie.
Kimmy was the youngest of four children; Jeniffer Lynn (1986), Robert George (1990), and Christina Nicole (1991). When Kimmy was seven, we moved to Vail with her step dad Dale Peebles and Kimmy gained two step brothers, Randy Lee (1986) and Adam Joseph (1988). Kimmy graduated Cienega High School in 2011, she loved photography and writing in her journals.
Again her family grew with her soon to be stepmom Falon and her little step sister Danielle (2006) and her little step brother Dashyl (2010). When Kimmy turned eighteen in 2011, she was diagnosed with Leukemia and had an almost fatal battle that lasted for three years. She never gave up! The chemo treatments left her with a bone disease that led to having both hips replaced. Still she never gave up! As Kimmy battled her disease, she spent a lot of time with her two nephews Michael and Brian and her niece Mariah. They brought her great joy and she loved them very much. They helped take her mind off her pain. Kimmy finally was cancer free and was trying to make a plan to attend college to become a counselor for cancer patients. Kimmy's life was taken from us way to soon on March 14,2016 and she will be missed beyond words, but will never be forgotten. Kimmy was loved by everyone she met and she did touch many lives.
