L.C. Butler Sr.'s Obituary
L.C. Butler Sr., 89 of Tucson, Arizona passed away peacefully on December 30, 2021. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama on July 25, 1932, to the late James Wesley and Mary Ettice Butler.
He married Kathryn Sue Woodward on December 26, 1953, in Benson Arizona, and she preceded him in death along with their son, L.C Butler Jr. He later married Linda Marie Hartman in Tucson, Arizona in January 19, 2017 and she preceded him in death as well. He is survived by his children Vickie Johnson, Stan Butler, Annette Thomas (Ron Thomas), Stephen Butler and Elisabeth Freeland (Tom Freeland). Stepchildren include Kevin Hartman (Jaimie Hartman), Vonni Senn (Don Senn), Cheri Dennis (Jim Dennis). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
LC was self-employed and owned Butler’s Custom Painting for several years. He was a faithful member of Eastside Assembly of God church and he served honorably in the United States Navy. He also enjoyed gardening, fishing, and making jewelry.
The funeral service will be held at Eastside Assembly of God Church located at1930 S. Wilmot Rd. Tucson, AZ 85711, on Thursday, January 6th, at 11:00 a.m. with lunch to follow. Grave side services will be arranged by Evergreen Mortuary, 3015 N. Oracle Rd., Tucson, Arizona (520-888-7470) at a later date.
