Laurance G. Stickney's Obituary
STICKNEY, LAURANCE G. Died June 18, 2012 of lung cancer, age 68. He was born and raised in Newburyport, MA, and has lived in Tucson for the past 32 years. Larry was a generous man who always put the needs of family and others first, often going without himself and sometimes working three jobs at a time. A kind and gentle giant of a man, he was always ready with a joke and saw humor in everything. Larry had been employed in Tucson by Manville-Schuller; Catalina Foothills High School, and most recently Raytheon. Preceded in death in 1990 by beloved wife, Cheryl. Survived by loving wife of 19 years, Felicia Stickney, Tucson; sister, Beverly Baker, Catalina, AZ; daughters Lauran (Jim) Brayden, North Reading, MA; Lisa Stickney (Shaun Huddleston), Tucson; Heidi (Jeff) Brown, Catalina, AZ; five granddaughters; one grandson; stepsons Greg Mercer, Tucson, and Ken Mercer, Stockton, CA. Memorial contributions may be made to Casa de la Luz or to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY.
