I had the pleasure of working with Lee since 2002 while he was on the Governing Board and Emergency Service Commission of Northwest Fire District. He was extremely dedicated in serving the community, and I don't remember a time when he missed a meeting. Lee loved to cook and was quite the accomplished chef and many times shared his feast with me when I would hand deliver his board book to him. However, I was kinda sneaky and timed the delivery right around dinner time because I knew I'd surely walk away with a large plate of some great Italian food that was beyond yummy.
