Leo Max Morris' Obituary
Leo M. Morris born November 2, 1924 passed away January 15,2018. Leo was
born in Chicago to Charles and Rebecca Morris. After high school Leo attended the Illinois Institute of Technology on an Engineering Scholarship. His education was interrupted by WWII when he enlisted in the Air Force. After the War, he met Eunice who was his loving wife for more than 70 years. They moved to Tucson in 1947 and Leo finished his college education at the University of Arizona.
Leo then went into the family business at The Mirror and Framehouse which he owned until the 1970's. He worked tirelessly at Temple Emanuel where he served as President of the Congregation and on every possible committee.
Leo is survived by his children, Lynne Miller (Steve), Robert Morris (May), 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, his brother Seymour Morris, and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Dianne and Ron Weintraub.
Services will be held graveside at Evergreen Cemetery in the Temple Emanu-el section with Rabbi Batsheva Appel officiating on Thursday January 18th at 11 am.
