Leon C. Mott's Obituary
"Wanted a friend like Leon"
A true friend is a rare find. A friend is more than just family. He was Leon to some and "papa" to us. Papa always told me "You had a lot of acquaintances but only a few friends". He held friendship at a very high standard. He would truly give the shirt off his back and when you found yourself in a tight spot he would be standing there next to you ready! He decided that Ma the love of his life needed him, so he had to leave us to be with her. As I sit here looking into the campfire I see him in the flames. The crackling and popping of the wood is his voice telling me the things I need to hear. If you ever had the privilege to sit at the campfire with him you would understand. Until we meet again I will always have the campfire my friend.

Leon, Dad, Papa no matter who he was to us, we will all miss his warmth and kindness. What a special and wonderful man we hand in him! He is now with his loving wife and resting joyfully in the house of the Lord.
