Leota Phillips' Obituary
Phillips, Leota (Keener} of Tucson, AZ went to be with the Lord on Sunday December 29, 2019. She was 89 years old and was surrounded by her husband and family.
Born to Mamie and Amos Keener in Little Rock Arkansas, she moved with her parents and seven siblings to the great state of California. At Cameron Creek, in Farmersville, she met the love of her life, the dashing Bill Phillips. Her life led her on journeys with her small family back to her roots in Arkansas, then on to Tennessee, and her final home in Tucson AZ.
She was always elated with happiness, as her complete family resided close by. She watched them grow into accomplished and loving adults, and encouraged them and the children with love along the way.
People would be in awe, when they realized that she and her {Bill} would have been married almost 70 years June 17, 2020.
She is survived by her beloved husband, William (Bill) Phillips, son, Gordon Phillips, daughter-in-law, Victoria Phillips, granddaughter, Elisabeth Clounch & husband Tim Clounch, granddaughter, Jessica VandenBosch & husband Bryan VandenBosch. Great-grandchildren; Michael Stephen Clounch & wife, Kelsey Clounch, Ashley Marie VandenBosch, and Luke William VandenBosch. Great-Great grandchildren; Aubrey Bella Clounch and Maddison Jade Clounch.
A Private Burial will be at Evergreen Mortuary Friday Morning for Family.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Northside Fellowship Church.
