I was saddened to hear of this news. Dr. Chin was the person who interviewed me for pharmacy school and let me know I was accepted! He was a wonderful person and great teacher.

I was saddened at the announcement of the passing of Dr. Chin. He was my Toxicology professor in the Fall of 1977. His wealth of knowledge, good humor, gentle nature, and passion for toxicology are memories that I will carry with me always. If the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy had a Mt. Rushmore, Dr. Chin would be on it! My heartfelt sympathy to his family during this difficult time.
Mark Campbell, Class of 1978
Remembering Dr. Chin as a scholar and educator but most of all a truly kind and great man. My Dad's best friend and treasured colleague. Hoping both, along with their wives (Alice and Theresa), are together again. What a marvelous reunion that must have been.
Our sincere wishes to Barbara and Fredrick for moments of wonderful memories that will lighten your hearts.

Dr Chin was a dedicated and productive faculty member in our Department, and a warm and compassionate person. He also had a strong moral character and deep-seated faith which helped him persevere in the caring of his beloved wife, Alice. Despite this immense personal hardship, he always had the zeal to effectively educate our Pharmacy students.
On a personal note, Dr Chin was instrumental in mentoring me as a newly hired faculty member in our College. I shall be forever grateful to him for his guidance, direction, and wit. He shall be greatly missed.
My sincere condolences to his family.
