Linda Marie Bryan's Obituary
Linda Marie Jackson Bryan 12/18/36 8/22/13 Linda went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 22, 2013. She was born in Clifton, Texas, the daughter of George Emory Jackson and Evelyn Orbeck Jackson. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1959 where she was a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority. She married Dan Bryan of Houston in 1959. They had no children. She taught elementary, middle and high school over a period of 33 years. She remained active in her sorority, United Daughters of the Confederacy and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She is survived by her husband, brothers Dr. Morris K. Jackson and James Robert Jackson and their families. She and Dan lived for a short time in Lake Charles, LA and Chicago, but most of their married life was spent in Houston. She and Dan moved to Tucson where they built their dream house in 2006. There will be a Graveside Service for Linda, Wednesday, 9:30 AM at EVERGREEN CEMETERY, preceded by a visitation one hour prior at EVERGREEN MORTUARY, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile.
