She had celebrated her 90th birthday surrounded by her family: daughter Yael, son Etan, son-in-law Shlomo, three grandchildren, their spouses, and eight great-grandchildren. In 1938, at age 16, Lotte left Nazi Germany for Palestine and, as a Zionist, helped build the land of Israel. Her parents were murdered by the Nazis and she never saw them again. Lotte knew world history and translated books from German to English. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. May God comfort you, Dear Ima!
