Lydia Ward Espino's Obituary
Lydia Ward Espino was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and chancla ninja. She left this world on February 09, 2024, at age 79.
She was born to Arnold and Amalia Ward on April 30, 1944. After graduating high school, Lydia chased her dream and went to beauty school. She shortly met her husband, Gilbert Espino. Together they had four children Gilbert Jr, Cynthia (Roy Moreno), Clarissa (Raul Cancino), and Gabriel. After having her children, she decided to stay home and dedicate her time to them. Later in years she worked as a cashier in the school cafeteria at Menlo Park. After retirement Lydia enjoyed her time with her six grandchildren, Michael, Alex, Danielle, Christopher, Cienna, and Samantha.
Lydia loved spending time creating piñatas, costumes, cascarones, and loved being involved with her children’s folklorico group.
Services are scheduled for 10 am February 19, 2024, burial to proceed after mass.
