Marie N. Macri's Obituary
Surrounded by loved ones, the heavenly gates opened on March 31, 2026, to welcome Marie Nancy Macri with open arms. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 1, 1931 and was married to Domenic Macri on June 10, 1950. She is now reunited with her husband, parents, siblings, and many dear friends who pre-deceased her.
She raised and loved her four daughters, Betty, Jen, Donna and Rosanne with all her heart and welcomed 4 son-in laws and loved them like her own. Her greatest joy in life was her 9 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and made many memories with them all along the way.
Marie will be remembered by her smile, outgoing personality and love of life, but most of all her Italian cooking. She opened the first Italian Restaurant in Rio Rico “Mamma Marias” where she poured love into every dish. She has shared her recipes with the family, so her cooking can live on.
Private services and a Celebration of Life were held on April 7, 226 to honor Marie. Special thanks to Casa De La Luz for their never-ending support during this very difficult time.
Marie will be missed, but her memories will live on forever.
