Mark Douglas Jersey's Obituary
Beyond Measure
Mark was a man who carried love in everything he did. He was full of kindness, full of hope, and full of strength that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and cared for. His heart was generous, his smile was steady, and his presence made life feel a little safer and a little brighter.
Above all else, Mark's greatest love was his family. There was no one he loved more than his wife of forty-five years and the family they built together: his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They were his pride, his joy, and the center of his world. Every decision he made, every sacrifice, every long day—he did it for them. His love for his family was deep, unwavering, and unconditional.
He was gone far too soon. There are so many moments we thought we would still have, so many memories we thought we would still make. The loss feels impossible, and the silence he leaves behind is heavy. But even in our grief, we hold onto the comfort of knowing that his presence still surrounds us.
We know he is looking down on us, proud of us, loving us, and waiting for the day we will all be together again. Until then, we believe he is guiding us, cheering us on, and surrounding us with the same love he gave so freely in life.
Mark's life was a gift His love was a blessing. And his memory will live on in every story we tell, every lesson he taught us, and every act of kindness we carry forward in his honor.
Until we meet again, Love: Kara, Mark (Annique), Stacia (James), Callum (Jay), Jordan (Jake), Zak (Kylee), Cricket, Justin (Chey), James (Kirsten), Nick, JD (Mia), Joseph, Kaylie, Jaxson, Ruger, Remington, Nova, and Theia.
