Mark E. MacKinney's Obituary
Mark E. MacKinney, 94, of Tucson, Az., went to be with the Lord, Sept. 1st, 2015. Survived by sons Mark E. MacKinney of Oxford, Ct., Ted MacKinney of Acton, Ca., Tom MacKinney of Oro Valley, Az., daughters Kathy Bennett of Tucson, Az., and Judy DeChello of Southbury, Ct.; brothers Paul MacKinney and Samuel MacKinney, and sister Beulah Williams. 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great- great grandchildren. Mark was predeceased by his loving wife of 62 years, Irene Leone MacKinney and his daughter Ruth Willson. Served his country as a B- 24 pilot in the pacific theater in WWII. Served his Lord as a prison chaplain in New Haven, Ct. and Tucson, Az. And as a lifelong member of Gideons International. Worked in the concrete construction industry for 43 years. Left this world knowing that he was going to heaven to a great reunion. A true answer to his life as a prayer warrior. A memorial service will be held Oct. 4, 2015 at 2pm in the Barrier Chapel at Casas Church 10801 N. La Cholla Blvd. Tucson, AZ 85742 a reception luncheon will be served in the Palo Verde building at Casas Church following. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to The Gideons International P.O. Box 36031 Tucson, AZ, or Global Outreach Missions at Casas Church 10801 N. La Cholla Blvd Tucson, AZ 85742.
